Hey there! I'm Aleta Adams.

I understand what it's like to run a business because I've been a business owner before...and as a freelance OBM & Copywriter I am one now. I owned and operated a brick-and-mortar yoga studio in beautiful Bend, OR for 8 years, before developing my online service biz.

I started my entrepreneurial life when I was 10 - selling rosebuds strung with fancy beads. I remember I made $150 in 1 week. For a 10-year-old in 1992 I was pretty stoked!

I've always been an out-of-the-box thinker...and simultaneously I thrive on rhythm, routine and a "fix-it" approach. I am a creative in that I am always looking for creative solutions to a problem. I am a do-er, an implementer and a reformer. If somethings not working, I'm not afraid to try something else.

In my opinion and experience, there is no "one right way" to operate. However, each unique business generally has "one better way." I want to help you discover YOUR best way to be organized, efficient and to scale your business. And once you pick systems that work...stick with them for long enough to experience the full effect.

I'm a "1" on the Enneagram and an Executor. My clients say I'm focused, organized and detail-oriented. What I notice about myself is that I get things done and I have high standards! I'm genuinely motivated by a deadline and I like to find ways to get s*!t done in the most efficient and strategic way possible. Standard Operating Procedures? Yes, please.

However, SOPs don't work unless they are actually in use. If nobody's using them, there's no point. Before we can develop SOPs we have to have a functional team and understand the value and scope of each role. Then we can build out SOPs and there's little room for error since recurring tasks are documented and tested.

My professional experience is like a Christmas tree with mismatched garlands and clashing colored lights...which ultimately end up looking pretty good once the star is on top.

Ok, if you're reading this it's likely that you're considering working with me so... the #1 most relevant credential of note is that I owned and managed my own business. You can read more about what I do in my Services section.
